Dr Michael Levitt is a general surgeon and colorectal surgeon practising at St John of God Subiaco Hospital with special interests in proctology, pilonidal sinus surgery, hernia surgery and functional bowel disease. He has authored more than 40 chapters in medical texts and articles in scientific journals and has written three books about bowel health for the general public.
